Immerse yourself in the living history of the Museum of the City of Antequera, whose origin dates back to 1908 with the Municipal Archaeological Museum. Initially housed in the Municipal Palace, this collection of historical pieces, mostly from Roman times, grew over the decades.

In 1966, the Municipal Museum was established in the Palace of Nájera, inaugurated in 1972 by the Prince and Princess of Spain. After an expansion in 2009-2011, it was reborn as the “Museo de la Ciudad de Antequera”, covering five thousand square meters and standing out as an iconic Andalusian municipal museum.
